Lansdale is a town in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was named after Philip Lansdale Fox in 1872, who was chief surveyor of the North Penn Railroad. One of the town's most famous landmarks is the Kugel ball, which is a large granite sphere that is supported by a thin film of pumped water.
